Book Buck Rewards Terms & Conditions

The Stories for Everyone Book Buck Rewards program is operated by Kind Impact LLC. By earning or redeeming Book Bucks, you agree to the following terms.
1. About Book Bucks
Book Bucks are promotional store credits offered through the Stories for Everyone Book Buck Rewards program.
1 Book Buck equals $1 toward an eligible purchase.
Book Bucks may be saved and combined.
Book Bucks expire 12 months after the date they are earned.
Book Bucks have no cash value.
Book Bucks are not gift cards and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Book Bucks may only be used as described in these terms.
2. How to Earn Book Bucks
At launch, customers may earn Book Bucks through qualifying referrals.
You will earn 1 Book Buck when:
You refer a new Stories for Everyone customer.
The referred customer completes their first eligible purchase.
The referred customer provides your approved referral code or registered name during checkout, or the referral can otherwise be reasonably verified.
The order is successfully paid and is not canceled, refunded, disputed, or charged back.
Book Bucks are generally added within seven days after the qualifying purchase has been completed and verified.
Each new customer may generate only one referral reward. Additional purchases by the same customer do not earn additional referral Book Bucks unless a separate promotion specifically states otherwise.
Registration and Referral Codes
Referrers must register for Book Buck Rewards before promoting or using a referral code.
A requested referral code is not active until Stories for Everyone reviews and confirms it.
Once approved, the referral code gives eligible Stories for Everyone customers 10% off eligible products. The referral code is intended to be shared with customers and is separate from the member’s personal Book Buck redemption code.
Approved referral codes must be used as assigned and may not be sold, transferred, shared as another person’s code, or used to create misleading referrals.
At checkout, a referred customer should enter the referrer’s approved referral code. If the customer does not have the code, they may enter the referrer’s registered full name.
Providing a code or name does not guarantee a reward. The purchase and referral must still satisfy all eligibility and verification requirements.
3. Qualifying New Customers
A qualifying new customer is someone who has not previously completed a purchase from Stories for Everyone.
Stories for Everyone may use available customer information and transaction history to determine whether someone qualifies as a new customer.
4. Referral Restrictions
The following do not qualify for Book Bucks:
Self-referrals
Referrals between people living in the same household
Duplicate, fake, or misleading customer accounts
Purchases made primarily to generate a reward and later returned or refunded
Referrals that cannot reasonably be verified
Orders that are canceled, refunded, disputed, or charged back
Fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative activity
Stories for Everyone may delay, deny, remove, or reverse a reward when eligibility cannot be confirmed or misuse is suspected.
5. Sharing and Referral Disclosures
When publicly recommending Stories for Everyone or sharing a referral through social media, a blog, email, or another public platform, participants should clearly state that they may earn Book Bucks if someone makes a qualifying purchase using their referral.
A simple disclosure may say:
“I may earn Book Bucks if you make a qualifying Stories for Everyone purchase and enter my approved referral code at checkout.”
The disclosure should be easy to notice and understand. It should not be hidden at the bottom of a post or placed among unrelated hashtags.
Participants must not make false, misleading, or unsupported claims about Stories for Everyone, its products, or the rewards program.
6. Where Book Bucks Can Be Used
Book Bucks may be used toward eligible physical products sold through Stories for Everyone, including:
Used books
Individual book bundles
Bookmarks
Blackout poetry kits
Other eligible Stories for Everyone physical products
Eligibility may vary by product or promotion.
7. Excluded Purchases and Charges
Unless a promotion specifically states otherwise, Book Bucks may not be used toward:
Shipping or delivery charges
Taxes
Photography services
Cleaning services
Products or services offered through another Kind Impact LLC initiative
Gift cards
Cash-equivalent products
Previously completed purchases
Items specifically excluded from a promotion
Donations
8. Redeeming Book Bucks
Book Bucks may be saved and combined. Each Book Buck is worth $1.
After your Book Buck Rewards membership is approved, you will receive a permanent personal Book Buck redemption code. This code is separate from your shareable referral code and should be kept private.
Use your personal redemption code in the discount-code field at checkout when purchasing eligible Stories for Everyone products.
The dollar value attached to your redemption code is maintained to match your current available Book Buck balance. For example, if you have 8 available Book Bucks, your redemption code will have a current value of up to $8 toward eligible merchandise.
Your redemption code is restricted to eligible Stories for Everyone product categories and may not be used toward shipping, delivery, taxes, services, donations, gift cards, excluded merchandise, or products or services offered through another Kind Impact LLC initiative.
The redemption amount cannot exceed the eligible merchandise subtotal. If your available Book Buck balance is greater than the eligible subtotal, only the amount that can be applied to that order will be redeemed. Your remaining verified balance will stay available after the order is reconciled.
The oldest available Book Bucks will generally be used first for expiration tracking.
After an order using your redemption code is completed, Stories for Everyone will record the amount actually redeemed and update the redemption-code value to reflect your remaining available balance.
When your available Book Buck balance is zero, your redemption discount will be disabled or otherwise unavailable until you earn additional Book Bucks.
Because Book Buck balances and redemption-code values are maintained manually during the initial program period, Stories for Everyone may temporarily pause or adjust a redemption code while an order, refund, expiration, correction, or other balance change is being reconciled.
Your referral code and personal Book Buck redemption code cannot be used on the same order.
Book Bucks may not reduce an order total below $0. No cash or change will be provided for unused Book Buck value.
Book Bucks must be available in your account at the time of purchase and generally cannot be applied retroactively.
9. Reader Champion Reward
For every 5 verified successful referrals, you will keep all 5 Book Bucks earned from those referrals and receive one free individual used book.
The Reader Champion free-book reward:
Applies to one individual used book
Does not apply to book bundles, kits, merchandise, gift cards, or other products
Has no maximum listed value
Is subject to available inventory
Cannot be exchanged for cash, Book Bucks, or another reward
May not be combined with another free-book reward on the same item
Stories for Everyone may provide instructions for selecting or redeeming the free book.
10. Expiration
Book Bucks expire 12 months after the date they are earned.
Expired Book Bucks will be removed from the available balance and generally cannot be restored.
Stories for Everyone may approve a limited exception in unusual circumstances, but exceptions are not guaranteed.
11. Transfers
Book Bucks belong to the person who earned them.
Book Bucks may not be:
Sold
Traded
Transferred to another person or account
Combined between customer accounts
Combined between members of the same household
Exchanged for cash
Corrections to a name, email address, or other contact information may be allowed when the account can reasonably be verified as belonging to the same person.
12. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, and Chargebacks
If a purchase that earned Book Bucks is canceled, refunded, disputed, or charged back, the related Book Bucks will be removed.
If those Book Bucks have already been redeemed, the participant’s balance may become negative. Future Book Bucks must first be applied toward the negative balance before additional Book Bucks may be redeemed.
When an order paid partly with Book Bucks is returned:
The portion paid with Book Bucks will generally be returned as Book Bucks rather than cash.
A cash refund will not exceed the amount paid through the original payment method.
Restored Book Bucks may retain their original expiration date.
Shipping charges and other nonrefundable amounts will follow the applicable return policy.
13. Missing Rewards and Balance Corrections
Please contact Stories for Everyone if you believe:
A qualifying referral was not credited
Your Book Buck balance is incorrect
Book Bucks were redeemed incorrectly
A checkout or technical issue affected a referral
A reward was removed in error
Stories for Everyone may request reasonable information needed to verify the customer, referral, or transaction.
Stories for Everyone may correct:
Duplicate rewards
Incorrect balances
Expired credits
Refund-related adjustments
Technical errors
Improper redemptions
Other inaccurate entries
All reward and balance decisions are subject to reasonable verification.
14. Book Buyback Store Credit
Book Bucks are separate from store credit issued through the Stories for Everyone Book Buyback Program.
Selling or donating books does not earn Book Bucks unless a specific promotion clearly states otherwise.
Book Buyback store credit:
Is earned under separate program rules
Is tracked separately from Book Bucks
May have different redemption and expiration terms
Does not count toward Reader Champion referral rewards
15. Additional Promotions
Stories for Everyone may occasionally offer additional ways to earn or redeem Book Bucks.
Each promotion may include separate eligibility requirements, dates, limits, exclusions, or expiration terms. When promotional terms conflict with these general terms, the promotion-specific terms will apply to that promotion.
16. Program Misuse
Stories for Everyone may suspend participation, remove Book Bucks, cancel rewards, or prohibit future participation when a person:
Creates fake or duplicate accounts
Provides false referral information
Manipulates purchases or returns
Harasses potential customers
Sends unsolicited or deceptive promotional messages
Misrepresents Stories for Everyone
Engages in fraud or other program abuse
Violates these terms
These actions may be taken without advance notice when necessary to protect customers, the program, or Kind Impact LLC.
17. Program Changes or Closure
Stories for Everyone and Kind Impact LLC may modify, pause, or discontinue the Book Buck Rewards program.
When practical, significant changes will be communicated through the website, email, or another reasonable method.
Existing Book Bucks will generally remain subject to the terms in effect when they were earned. Exceptions may apply when changes are necessary because of:
Fraud or misuse
Legal or regulatory requirements
Technical limitations
Business closure
Program closure
Circumstances outside the reasonable control of Kind Impact LLC
If the program is discontinued, Stories for Everyone may establish a final redemption period.
18. No Guarantee of Product Availability
Earning Book Bucks or a Reader Champion reward does not guarantee that a particular book, product, edition, format, or title will remain available.
Used-book inventory is limited and may change frequently.
19. Limitation of the Program
Participation in the Book Buck Rewards program does not create an employment, partnership, agency, representative, franchise, or independent-contractor relationship between the participant and Kind Impact LLC.
Participants are not authorized to make commitments, guarantees, or representations on behalf of Stories for Everyone or Kind Impact LLC.

Questions about Book Bucks, balances, referrals, eligibility, or redemptions may be submitted through the Kind Impact contact page.
Please include enough information for the referral or transaction to be reviewed, but do not send sensitive payment information through a standard contact form.
